There’s confusion about how long weed can be stored since some suggest the compounds can be kept for several years and others suggest the flowers can lose all their components, but to remain on the safe side you should consider putting it in the freezer for a short period of 1 year or less. Weed shouldn’t extend this length of time since it can lose its compounds and structure when touched.

Weed can be frozen in the freezer at 0 degrees Fahrenheit when stored properly and over a short duration. The flower’s perfect temperature to thrive is between 60 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit in a sealed jar.
