Step-By-Step Process To Make Hash From Trim

When making hash from trim there are protocols you can utilize to conduct the procedure in your own home. Any grower can learn how to start getting hash from trichomes that collect on cannabis trimmings. 

1. Ice and Water Bath: Before conducting the ice and water method, make sure to prepare your trimmings. 

Next, get micron screen bags and layer them inside the bucket, starting with the smallest screen bag. Place the cannabis trimmings in first before anything else.  You can then get a bucket with one bag of ice along with getting enough water to cover the trimmings. 

Then stir the cannabis mixture consistently for 20 minutes. Afterward, wait 40 minutes before removing the screens one at a time and collecting the hash. 

2. Dry Sifting: Make sure to dry sift by freezing and curing cannabis. It has to be cold enough for trichomes to break. 

Incorporate a screen and lie the cannabis over it to spread it out and break it up. Shake the weed through the screen and have a base to collect the fallen hash. 

3. Tumbler: This is using an electronic tool that can shake your cannabis through a screen. The hash can be collected underneath. 
4. Blender: Use the blender method by filling it up halfway with cannabis. Place cold water and ice inside then begin blending the entire mixture for 45 seconds and let it sit afterward. 

Do this three times then put the mix into a bowl and strain the cannabis out. This won’t get rid of the plant material completely so you will need to get another filter and fill a jar more than halfway with the remaining mixture. 

Pour water over it. The solids should collect at the bottom after an hour. Ideally, repeat enough times until you have enough hash on the coffee filter and not the jar. 

These are some of the methods you can use to receive hash from your trimmings. You can also use it for buds as well.
